Disinfestation and Sanitisation equipment “SANICROP+”

In the Stalam “RF” system, the product is fed to the inlet section by means of an in-built volumetric hopper feeder, that guarantees the load consistency and the desired thickness, and is conveyed through the treatment tunnel by a foodgrade conveyor belt.

In the treatment tunnel the product passes through the electromagnetic field generated by a pair of electrodes placed above and below the conveyor belt. The Radio Frequency energy supply is accurately adjusted to ensure a perfectly controlled process on a wide range of medium to low moisture content products.

The PLC control ensures a reliable, repeatable and safe process and allows to manage easily the operating parameters required to reach the Customer’s targets. Within a few minutes the product comes out from the treatment tunnel and is gently unloaded onto the conveyor system which will take it to the subsequent processing steps.
